NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. CONTEST OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF ONTARIO WHO ARE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AS OF THE START OF THE CONTEST ENTRY PERIOD

The 7 Weeks of Winning Online Holiday Contest (“Contest”) is sponsored by the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (“OLG”). OLG is referred to in these Official Rules and Regulations as the “Sponsor”. The Contest is managed and administered by Pollard Banknote Limited (the “Contest Administrator”), acting on behalf of the Sponsor for the purposes of this Contest. Collectively, the Sponsor and Contest Administrator are referred to as the “Contest Parties”.

The Contest commences on October 24, 2022 at 12:00:00 a.m. ET and ends on January 13, 2023 at 11:59:59 p.m. ET (the “Contest Entry Period”). By entering this Contest, entrants accept and agree to be legally bound by these Official Rules and Regulations and the decisions of the Sponsor (and where the Sponsor designates, the Contest Administrator), which are final, binding (without right of appeal) and conclusive on all matters related to this Contest.

ELIGIBILITY
1. The Contest is available in Ontario only and only open to those residing in Ontario who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the start of the Contest Entry Period (“Eligible Participant”).
2. Notwithstanding 1.1, the Contest is not open to:
  1. Volunteers, employees, officers, directors, representatives or agents of any of the following:
    1. the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (“AGCO”);
    2. the Sponsor;
    3. the Sponsor’s authorized Lottery Retailers (defined below in 3) or distributors;
    4. the respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, prize suppliers, advertising/promotion agencies of any of the foregoing parties mentioned in (i) through (iii); and
    5. any entity involved in the development, production, implementation, administration, judging or fulfillment of the Contest, including the Contest Administrator.
3. For the purpose of this Contest, a “Lottery Retailer” means a person/entity contracted by the Sponsor to sell lottery tickets and provide lottery services at a retail location
4. In the event that an individual does not meet the eligibility requirements as set forth herein, the Sponsor has the right, in its sole discretion, to reject or disqualify the individual from participating in this Contest.
ODDS OF WINNING
1. The odds of winning a Weekly Prize depends on the total number of all Entries (regardless of the method of Entry) submitted and received in accordance with these Official Rules and Regulations during the relevant Weekly Draw Period. The odds of winning the Grand Prize depends on the total number of all Entries (regardless of the method of Entry) submitted and received in accordance with these Official Rules and Regulations during the Contest Entry Period

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

To enter this Contest, Eligible Participants must first obtain a fourteen (14) character alpha-numeric 7 Weeks of Winning Online Holiday Contest Online Contest Code (“Contest Code”) by one of the two methods outlined below in this section 3.1, and subsequently follow the steps in section 3.2 to enter the Contest Code online to obtain Entries. Eligible Participants can obtain a Contest Code as follows during the Contest Entry Period:
1. With Purchase: You can receive one (1) Contest Code when you make a purchase of an eligible INSTANT Holiday lottery ticket as noted below from a Lottery Retailer in Ontario (“Eligible Purchase”). The Contest Code is located on each eligible ticket in the 7 Weeks of Winning scratch-off area.

2. No Purchase Necessary (“NPN”): To receive one (1) Contest Code without making an Eligible Purchase, clearly print your first name, last name, full mailing address (street, apt./suite, city/town, province/territory, postal code) on a plain white piece of paper along with the words “7 WEEKS OF WINNING ONLINE HOLIDAY CONTEST”, a one hundred (100) or more word, unique and original handwritten, essay describing your favourite Holiday tradition and your desired number of entries (2 or 3 or 5 or 20), and mail it (in an envelope with sufficient postage) along with a one (1) postage pre-paid stamped and pre-addressed envelope to: “7 WEEKS OF WINNING ONLINE HOLIDAY CONTEST”, 140 Otter Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3T 0M8 (“Request”).
  
  One (1) NPN Contest Code will be provided per each unique posted Request with the value of 2, 3, 5 or 20 entries plus the opportunity to earn Bonus Entries as per Section 3.9 below , the equivalent of entering a purchased $2, $3, $5 or $20 ticket respectively.
  
  To be eligible, each Request must: (i) be received separately in an envelope bearing sufficient postage (i.e. mass mail-in Requests in the same envelope will be void); (ii) specify how many entries are desired (NOTE: The number desired must be one of: 2 or 3 or 5 or 20); (iii) be post-marked during the Contest Period and be received no later than December 23, 2022 (to allow sufficient time to respond with a Contest Code); and (iv) include all required information as noted above.
  
  NPN Contest Codes may take up to 5 business days from receipt to be processed by the Contest Administrator. Delivery of a NPN Contest Code is dependent on standard Canada Post delivery times (2-7 business days, depending on your location). The Released Parties (defined below) take no responsibility for any lost, stolen, delayed, illegible, damaged, misdirected, lost or destroyed Requests (all of which are void).
Once an Eligible Participant has obtained a Contest Code, they must visit OLGholidaycontest.ca during the Contest Entry Period to enter the Contest by following the links and instructions to fully complete and submit their online entry (“Entry”), including inputting their Contest Code as part of the entry process. An email address and a user password will be required to log in, update registration information and submit any subsequent Entries.

Eligible Participants will receive Entries based on price point and second chance play, as outlined in the table below, for each unique Contest Code submitted in accordance with these Official Rules and Regulations. The number of Entries received is based on the price of the ticket(s) being entered. For every $1 spent on a ticket, the Eligible Participant will automatically receive a single Entry. Eligible Participants will also receive a variable number of Bonus Entries for each ticket entered based upon the below table should they elect to play the bonus game as set out in more detail in Section 3.9.

Entries submitted through any other method other than that described above will be deemed invalid.
Each Contest Code is unique and can only be used one (1) time in this Contest. Sharing Contest Codes is prohibited. Each Contest Code will automatically expire after its first use or on January 13, 2023 11:59:59 p.m. ET (whichever occurs first). All Contest Codes submitted are subject to verification in the sole and absolute discretion of the Sponsor. Any Contest Code that cannot be verified to the complete satisfaction of the Sponsor, in their sole and absolute discretion, is subject to immediate disqualification (in which case the Entry associated with such Contest Code will be voided).
Eligible Participants may submit a maximum of fifty-one (51) unique Contest Codes per day (defined for the purposes of these Official Rules and Regulations as 12:00:00 a.m. local time to 11:59:59 p.m. local time) during the Contest Entry Period, regardless of the method of entry.
The Sponsor reserves the right, in their sole and absolute discretion, to require proof of identity and eligibility (in a form acceptable to the Sponsor – including, without limitation, government issued photo identification): (a) for the purposes of verifying an individual’s eligibility to participate in this Contest; (b) for the purposes of verifying the eligibility and legitimacy of an Entry/Bonus Entry/Request entered (or purportedly entered) for the purposes of this Contest; or (c) for any other reason the Sponsor deems necessary, in its sole and absolute discretion, for the purposes of administering this Contest in accordance with these Official Rules and Regulations. Failure to provide such proof to the complete satisfaction of the Sponsor in a timely manner may result in disqualification in the sole and absolute discretion of the Sponsor.
If it is discovered by the Sponsor (using any evidence or other information made available to or otherwise discovered by the Sponsor) that any person has attempted to: (i) use multiple names, identities, email addresses and/or any automated, macro, script, robotic or other system(s) or program(s) to enter or otherwise participate in or disrupt this Contest; (ii) falsely enter a Contest Code without obtaining a Contest Code in accordance with these Official Rules and Regulations; (iii) re-enter a Contest Code a subsequent time after its first use; and/or (iv) enter a Contest Code that has been falsified, manipulated or otherwise altered in any way (all as determined by the Sponsor in their sole and absolute discretion); then they may be disqualified from the Contest in the sole and absolute discretion of the Sponsor. Any Entry may be rejected if, in the sole and absolute discretion of the Sponsor, the online entry form is not fully completed with all required information (including providing a unique Contest Code) and submitted and received during the Contest Entry Period in accordance with these Official Rules and Regulations. The Released Parties (defined below) are not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, delayed, incomplete or incompatible Entries, Bonus Entries and/or Requests (all of which are void).
Bonus Entries

There is one (1) way to receive Bonus Entries (each a “Bonus Entry” and collectively, the “Bonus Entries”):

For each unique Contest Code successfully entered to participate in the Contest, the Eligible Participant will have a chance to play an online bonus game for the chance to earn Bonus Entries, the available number of which are set out in the prize chart in Section 3.3 above.

Once an Eligible Participant successfully enters their Contest Code, the online bonus game will appear. To play the online bonus game, Eligible Participants must select “Reveal All” or tap the five (5) Winning Numbers and fifteen (15) Your Numbers to reveal them one at a time. If any one of the Winning Numbers match one of Your Numbers, the corresponding number of Bonus Entries will be awarded.

WEEKLY AND GRAND PRIZE DRAWS

There is a total of one (1) Grand Prize and seven (7) Weekly Prizes available to be won in this Contest as set out in more detail in this Section 4. One (1) Weekly Prize will be awarded each week according to the schedule below (each, a “Weekly Draw Period”) based on the total number of Entries received during that Weekly Draw Period. The Grand Prize draw will take place after the end of the Contest Entry Period from the total number of Entries received during the Contest Entry Period.
Entries submitted are valid for the Weekly Draw Period that they are entered, subject to section 4.3 below.

All Entries submitted during any Weekly Draw Period that are not selected as a winner for that Weekly Prize, shall be carried over to the final Grand Prize draw (draw 8).

Each Weekly Prize consists of $1,000 CAD, payable by cheque. The Grand Prize consists of $25,000 CAD, payable by cheque. Total value of all Prizes is $32,000 CAD.
Eligible Entries and Bonus Entries (collectively, “Contest Entry/Entries”) submitted and received during each Weekly Draw Period as noted in Section 4.1 in accordance with these Official Rules and Regulations will be entered into the applicable draw to be held in Winnipeg, Manitoba, after the Weekly Draw Period Entry Deadline noted above. Entries submitted and received during the Contest Entry Period in accordance with these Official Rules and Regulations for the Grand Prize will be entered into the applicable draw to be held in Winnipeg, Manitoba, after the Contest Entry Period Deadline noted above. For each draw, one (1) eligible entrant will be selected by an electronic random draw from among all eligible Contest Entries submitted. Five (5) eligible Contest Entries will be randomly drawn thereafter (“Back-up Entries”), to be used, in the order they were drawn, in the event that the selected Contest Entry initially drawn, and/or one or more of the Back-up Entries do not qualify as per the Official Rules and Regulations.

WINNER NOTIFICATION FOR WEEKLY AND GRAND PRIZES
1. The Contest Administrator will attempt to contact the selected entrant at the telephone number and/or email address and/or mailing address provided with their registration information for ten (10) business days following the date of the applicable draw. Four (4) attempts to contact using telephone calls and emails will be made at different times between 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Eastern time. The selected entrant must return any message left by the Contest Administrator within the time frame stipulated in the message to remain eligible to receive the applicable Prize. Prize claiming details will be provided at the time of contact.
2. If the selected entrant cannot be contacted within ten (10) business days from the applicable draw, or if there is a return of any notification as undeliverable, then they may, in the sole and absolute discretion of the Sponsor, be disqualified (and, if disqualified, will forfeit all rights to the applicable Prize) and the Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion and time permitting, to select the next available Back-up Entry according to the order in which it was drawn (in which case the foregoing provisions of this section shall apply to such newly selected entrant).
3. If no confirmed winner is declared after all five (5) Back-up Entries are used in accordance with these Official Rules and Regulations, then the applicable Prize will not be awarded in this Contest.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
1. By entering this Contest, each Eligible Participant acknowledges and authorize the Contest Parties to use collected personal information for the purpose, or consistent purpose, of administrating the Contest in accordance with the Sponsor's Privacy Policy on https://www.olg.ca/en/privacy-and-cookie-policy.html.
TERMS OF ACCEPTANCE
1. The Weekly and Grand Prizes must be accepted as awarded. No substitution, assignment or transfer of a prize is permitted, except at the Sponsor’s sole discretion and any unclaimed prizes will not be awarded.
2. The selected entrant acknowledges that the Sponsor and all involved advertising and promotional agencies, the Contest Administrator, other suppliers providing prizes or other materials or services in connection with this Contest, anyone else involved in the development or execution of this Contest, each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries and affiliated companies and each of their respective shareholders, members, directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assignees (the “Released Parties”) have not been made, nor are in any manner responsible for, any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize, including, but not limited to, its quality, merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Further, no responsibilities are accepted for any additional expenses, omissions, delays, re-routing, or acts of any government or authority.
3. Before being declared a confirmed winner, the selected entrant will be required to sign and return within ten (10) business days of receipt a declaration and release form, which (among other things): (a) confirms compliance with the Official Rules and Regulations (b) acknowledges acceptance of the applicable prize (as awarded); (c) releases the Released Parties from any and all liability in connection with this Contest, their participation therein and the awarding of the applicable prize; (d) agrees to the publication, reproduction or other use of their name, address, voice, statements about the Contest or photograph or other likeness without further notice or compensation, in any publicity or advertisement carried out by or on behalf of the Sponsor in any manner whatsoever, including print, broadcast or the internet; and (e) requires the eligible selected entrant to correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question without the use of any mechanical aid in order to be named the winner and receive the applicable prize. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to administer an alternative test of skill as it deems appropriate based on the circumstances and/or to comply with applicable law. If the selected entrant: (a) fails to return the properly executed Contest documents within the specified time; (b) cannot accept (or is unwilling to accept) the applicable prize (as awarded) for any reason; (c) fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question: and/or (d) is determined to be in violation of the Official Rules and Regulations (all as determined by the Sponsor in their sole and absolute discretion), then they may, in the sole and absolute discretion of the Sponsor, be disqualified (and, if disqualified, will forfeit all rights to the applicable prize) and the Sponsor reserves the right, in their sole and absolute discretion and time permitting, to select the next available Back-up Entry according to the order in which it was drawn (in which case the foregoing provisions of this section shall apply to such newly selected entrant). The Released Parties are not responsible for contacting an entrant who provided incorrect or incomplete information.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
1. The Sponsor and Contest Administrator reserve the right to terminate, suspend, modify or withdraw this Contest, in whole or in part, at any time and for any reason without prior notice. The Sponsor and Contest Administrator also reserve the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, violates the Official Rules and Regulations or otherwise acts in a disruptive manner. Without limiting the foregoing, the Sponsor and/or Contest Administrator may declare ineligible any individual who, in the Sponsor’s or the Contest Administrator’s sole judgment does not otherwise meet eligibility requirements or is otherwise in breach of these Official Rules and Regulations.
2. The Sponsor reserve the right, in their sole and absolute discretion, and without prior notice, to adjust any of the dates and/or timeframes stipulated in the Official Rules and Regulations, to the extent necessary, for purposes of verifying compliance by any entrant, Entry, Bonus Entry or Request with the Official Rules and Regulations, or as a result of any technical or other problems, or in light of any other circumstances which, in the opinion of the Sponsor in their sole and absolute discretion, affects the proper administration of the Contest as contemplated in the Official Rules and Regulations, or for any other reason. The Sponsor reserve the right, in their sole and absolute discretion, to cancel, amend or suspend this Contest, or to amend these Official Rules and Regulations, in any way without prior notice or obligation, in the event of any accident, printing, administrative, or other error of any kind, or for any other reason whatsoever. If due to printing, production, online, internet, computer, technical or other error of any kind whatsoever, more prizes are claimed than intended to be distributed or awarded according to these Official Rules and Regulations, then, in addition to having the right to terminate the Contest immediately, the Sponsor reserves the right, in their sole and absolute discretion, to rescind invalid prize claims and/or conduct a random draw from amongst all eligible prize claimants to award the applicable prize. In no event will the Released Parties be liable for more than seven (7) Weekly Prizes and one (1) Grand Prize as stated in these Official Rules and Regulations.
3. Any individual who attempts to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest or to alter or damage the Contest website may be subject to civil and/or criminal penalties and fines. The Sponsor and Contest Administrator reserve the right to seek damages from any such individual to the fullest extent permitted by law.
4. The Released Parties will not be liable for the failure of any Entry, Bonus Entry, Request or other information to be received, captured or recorded for any reason. In no event will the Released Parties be liable to award more than seven (7) Weekly Prizes and one (1) Grand Prize and do not accept responsibility, in whole or in part, for loss, damage or injury, howsoever caused in connection with the Weekly or Grand Prize or the conduct of the Contest.
5. The Released Parties assume no responsibility for: Entries, Bonus Entries, Requests or other information lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected; or for the failure, interruption or delay of any mail or email or other communication to be received, for any reason; any computer viruses, time bombs, logic bombs and any other implanted devices of a like or similar nature that may arise or occur in connection with the Contest; problems with the function of any website or website feature howsoever caused; the malfunction of, or damage caused to, any telephone network or lines, computer equipment, data or software, online systems, servers or access providers; any functionality lost due to not having cookies enabled; traffic congestion on the Internet; the security or privacy of information transmitted via computer networks; for breaches of privacy due to interference by third party computer “hackers”; or any combination thereof, as a result of participation in this Contest.
GENERAL RULES
1. All Entries become the property of the Sponsor. This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws. The decision the Sponsor with respect to all aspects of this Contest is final and binding on all entrants without right of appeal, including, without limitation, any decisions regarding the eligibility/disqualification of Entries, Bonus Entries, Requests, Contest Codes and/or entrants. By participating in this Contest, entrants are agreeing to be legally bound by the terms and conditions of the Official Rules and Regulations. Anyone determined to be in violation of these Official Rules and Regulations for any reason is subject to disqualification in the sole and absolute discretion of the Sponsor at any time.
2. If the identity of a participant is disputed, the authorized account holder of the email address submitted with the Entry in question will be deemed to be the participant for the purposes of the Contest. The individual assigned to the email address for the domain associated with the submitted email address is considered the authorized account holder. A selected entrant may be required to provide proof that they are the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the Entry in question, and is otherwise required to meet all eligibility requirements set out in these Official Rules and Regulations.
3. The first name and last initial and city of the Weekly and Grand Prize winners may be posted, published, or announced on the Sponsor’s websites, contest website and/or other media for up to twelve (12) months after the selected entrant is confirmed as the winner.
4. In the event of any conflict with any provisions contained in these Official Rules and Regulations or Contest details contained in any form of promotional material or media (“Contest Materials”), these Official Rules and Regulations shall prevail, govern and control to the extent of the conflict
5. Draw dates and times are subject to change without notice.
6. These Official Rules and Regulations govern this Contest and must be complied with. By agreeing to participate in the Contest, all participants agree to comply with, and be legally bound by these Official Rules and Regulations.
7. The Contest is not a game under the eligible INSTANT Holiday lottery tickets as outlined in Section 3.1 above and any conditions specific to the eligible INSTANT Holiday lottery tickets, including ticket expiry dates, do not apply to this Contest or these Official Rules and Regulations.
